Because her father was in the construction industry, Wendi grew up around construction sites, and she knew from an early age that she wanted to work in the industry. After some years in the legal and real estate fields in California, she moved to the sales side after moving to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She was soon hired by a developer to work with buyers of new-construction homes. This position gave Wendi additional experience working with builders and buyers, and she found that she loved helping future residents make their dream homes a reality. With over 20 years honing her skills and working with numerous home builders in DFW, she jumped at the opportunity to join Risland Homes, a company she describes as “the type of home builder I prefer to sell homes for.” Wendi is the recipient of Sales Professional of the Year McSam awards in multiple years, and that along with her outstanding experience and insight, made Risland Homes thrilled to have her join our team.

Since joining the Risland Homes sales team, Wendi has streamlined the sales process in order to bring buyers into the fold, creating “an engaging and wonderful experience” as our Risland Homes customers note. From her meditation session in the morning to preparing the next day’s to-do list in the evening, Wendi dedicates her days to helping customers find and buy their ideal home in Prosper and Van Alstyne, Texas. While the customers are her focus, Wendi spends many hours each day coordinating with her Risland teams, which multiplies her ability to help lead customers to the Legacy Gardens and Mantua Point residence that is right for them.
